Cozy Earth.

This space was a blank canvas and had no existing furniture that was going to be incorporated except the gilded gold mirror to the left of the fireplace, which was my great-grandmother’s. My mother told me she used to keep it in her living space too so I feel grateful for that. The rug is a hand-knotted traditional piece that we are so in love with. The main sofa is the 93” Kipton sofa from Arhaus and it is divine. We are even debating using it in our basement for our new sectional next spring. The coffee tables are also from Arhaus, who were wonderful to work with. The two ottomans had some options for color/finish but I chose this warm tobacco color as it really tied in the warmth from the Brazilian cherry floors. I wanted to change them buying this house, but turns out, they’re extremely high quality and they’re growing on me big time. We always want to incorporate black in some way, it’s my nod to deep contrast and interest. We love spending time here and look forward to the many years of memories.
